The platform architecture supports, in its current deployment, in excess of 200,000 IP phones, the scaling of which is achieved through the simple addition of BroadSoft servers in each data centre. Realistically the platform is designed to scale exponentially. In addition, the Hipcom platform is fully resilient and operates a five nines carrier-grade service. It is based on a geographical, redundant network architecture across two data centres and redundancy is built-in at every level.
